MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING – May 16, 2005 6:00 PM
Selectmen Present: Eric R. Munson, Jr. and Wesley Greene, II
Minutes of previous meeting corrected and accepted.
Bob Bitso and Eric discussed Michael Lodsin of Harvey Mountain Road. Eric will get back to Bob with a court date.
Eric and Wes explained the process of the Fiscal 06 budget and override with Bob Bitso. They explained that if the override does not pass the Fiscal 06 budget as presented will have to be cut. The finance Committee and Selectmen will be meeting Wednesday night with Atty. Locke to discuss the Annual Town Meeting Articles.
Letters were received from:
Cynthia Burrall of South Trail stating that she would like to serve on the Historical Commission. The Board will retain the letter until appointments are made in the next couple of weeks.
Edward C. Stone, President of The Tunxis Club regarding the Tolland trash compactor fee. The fee of $1,050.00 is not for the use of the compactor but rather for the use of the recyclable materials.
Allan Grondin of Colebrook River Road expressing his opinion on the street lights. The Board of Selectmen will be adding an article to the ATM Warrant for a town discussion.
Richard L. Meister, Charlotte M. Chapman, JeanAnn Z. Armitage and Barbara Lang all of Wildwood Property Owners Association regarding the entrance of Beetle Road. The Board took the letters into consideration.
The Tolland Library submitted a revised budget. The Board felt that the revised budget was not necessary.
Margaret McClellan, Treasurer informed the Selectmen that John still hasn’t submitted reimbursement paperwork into Mass. Highway for Chapter 90.
